The Biological Sciences section is the last of the four compontents of the MCAT. It contains both passage-based and independent questions to evaluate your knowledge of basic biologicalscience concepts and your facility at problem solving using these concepts. While they do not test your ability to memorize scientific facts from the passages, they do expect you to know your basic principles in Biology and Organic Chemistry. This section is identical in length and format to the Physical sciences: 52 questions in 70 minutes.
