The nervous system can be broken down into two parts, the structural and function compontents (including neurons, the brain, organization, etc) and the processing functions (sensory reception, reflexes, processing etc). One should be familiar with both the fundamental biological units of the nervous system (ie neurons) and how they are organized as a whole.
